Penn State Mont Alto faculty Robin Yaure and Robyn Chotiner worked closely with the Education Abroad office in Penn State Global and ISI Florence to condense a seven-week, nine-credit summer program into a three-credit course with a 10-day study abroad experience in Florence, Italy. For the Penn State students who participated in the programming, the experience was incredibly impactful. For some it was their first time out of the country.

Casey Staley-Bingaman, a mother of two whose husband is a Marine, fulfilled a promise she made to herself when she graduated from Penn State on May 5.

Josh Hersl, a senior forest ecosystem management major in Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences, has experienced a few roadblocks and detours on the road to reaching his dreams.

Marissa Bubbenmoyer enjoys helping older adults and singing. At Penn State Mont Alto she is doing both through the Human Development and Family Studies (HDFS) program and as a member of the Penn State Mont Alto Student Chorale.
